Topic Research: Grimm's Tales

the topic I am writing about will focus on Grimm's Fairy Tales. There are some familiar stories I read in my Grimm's book that I am interested in retelling.

In this story a young princess loses her favorite golden ball while playing near a spring. Upset by this, she offers everything she has if her ball is retrieved. A frog comes out of the water and offers to retrieve the ball for her if she allows him to live with her. The princess agrees but leaves the frog behind as soon as she got her golden ball. The princess's father forces her to let the frog stay with her. He eventually turns into a prince and explains that a fairy placed an enchantment on him. I would like to focus more on the prince and why an enchantment was placed on him.

In this story, a poor miller convinces the king that his daughter can spin straw into gold. The miller's daughter is brought to the king and was told to spin all the straw in the room or she will die. Unable to do this, she sat crying. A little man appears and asks what she can offer him if he spins it for her. The little man spins the straw for small items. Eventually, the man asks the girl for her first born child. When her child is born, the little man appears but the woman refuses to give her baby away. He gives her three days to guess his name. I would like to focus on the greedy king and Rumpelstiltskin and how he was able to spin straw into gold.

Story 3 Snow White
In this story, a jealous queen sends her beautiful daughter away to be killed by a huntsman. However, the huntsman takes pity on the girl and leaves her in the woods. The girl stumbles upon a small house to rest in. Seven little men come home and realize she was there. They agreed to let her stay is she cooked and cleaned for them. The evil queen learns Snow White is still alive. She disguises herself and gives Snow White a poison apple. Thinking she was dead, the little men place her in a coffin. A young prince sees her in the coffin and has his men carry it away. The apple falls out of Snow White's mouth and she awakes. I am not sure how my version of this story will go. I have several ideas floating around.
